Welcome to 3rd Grade!

 

I LOVE teaching 3rd grade because we get to learn about and explore so many fun things like: Greeks & Romans, Explorers, fossils and rocks, how to multiply and divide, and how to become better readers and writers!

 

This is my fourth year teaching at Manzanita.  I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and went to college at the University of North Dakota where I met my now husband, Jason.  We have two dogs, Gizmo and Norbert.  I love taking the dogs hiking and camping.  I also love to read and travel.  I am currently enrolled in the Language, Reading, and Culture master's program at the Univeristy of Arizona.  

 

I am so exicted for this school year and can't wait to get to know all the wonderful new students and families that will enter room 11!
